  1. Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission

    The Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission shall act in an advisory role to the Board of Supervisors on matters pertaining to parks and recreation.

  2. Planning & Zoning Commission

    The Planning and Zoning Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on rezoning, special use permit, military compatibility, and plan of development applications, amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, development master plans and comprehensive plans.

  3. Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Boards

    The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Local Boards provide a uniform, consistent and equitable program for public safety personnel who are regularly assigned hazardous duty in the employment of a political subdivision.

  4. Ryan White Planning Council

    The mission of the Phoenix EMA Ryan White Part A Planning Council is to ensure an integrated, holistic, and comprehensive system of health care for people living with HIV that is culturally appropriate, multilingual, full-service, family-friendly, and accessible to the entire community.

  5. Self-Insured Benefits Trust Fund Board of Trustees

    The Self-Insured Benefits Trust Fund Board of Trustees administers the Maricopa County Benefits Trust for the purpose of administering, staffing, managing, and funding the Health and Welfare Benefits Program.

  6. Self-Insured Risk Trust Fund Board of Trustees

    The Maricopa County Self-Insured Risk Trust Fund is administered by the Board of Trustees. This trust provides for the establishment of self-insured retention programs by the Board of Supervisors in accordance with the provisions of Arizona law and authorizes the management, funding and administration of the Fund for direct payment of benefits, losses or claims, or any combination of insurance and direct payments.

  7. State Board of Equalization

    The mission of the State Board of Equalization is to provide a fair and impartial venue for property owners, county assessors and the Department of Revenue to challenge the valuation and classification of real and personal property that is subject to taxation.

  8. Transportation Advisory Board

    The mission of the Maricopa County Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) is to: support comprehensive transportation planning that enhances the quality of life for Maricopa County citizens; support the continued safety and maintenance of the Maricopa County Transportation System; review and recommend the CIP to implement Maricopa County Board of Supervisors transportation goals.

  9. Travel Reduction Program Regional Task Force

    The Travel Reduction Program Regional Task Force reviews employer/school survey results and the related plans are officially approved or rejected. Its meetings are open to the public and are usually held every 4 weeks.
