Point of Dispensing (POD) Vaccination Sites
Due to the initial limited supply of COVID-19 vaccine, Maricopa County is partnering with local healthcare systems and municipalities to operate five drive-through Point of Dispensing (POD) sites across the county. This allows us to vaccinate as many people as possible in a quick, safe and efficient manner. All Maricopa County regionally operated POD sites are operated by certified medical staff and volunteers.
Additionally, the Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs are hosting the state's only 24/7 POD at State Farm Stadium, with a second POD scheduled to open Feb. 1st at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
Scheduling Your Appointment
Appointment availability at POD sites will be noted in location listings below. Appointments are likely to be very limited.
We are actively working to add new POD location sites in Maricopa County. Additionally, we are working with schools and school districts across the county to hold events specifically for school staff and childcare workers. Similar discussions are also underway with multiple jurisdictions to offer special vaccination events to law enforcement populations. Pharmacies to vaccinate adults 75 years and older also are coming on board. More information about vaccination events for Phase 1B priority groups will continue to be added to this page as it becomes available.
All appointments are currently full through January at the State Farm POD. Beginning in February, the State Farm POD will begin offering second dose appointments in addition to the site’s current capacity for first doses. Scheduling will re-open Jan. 19th at 9am for both State Farm and the new location at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
NOTE: Please read the registration site instructions included in the links below for important information you'll need prior to accessing the appointment system. See full list of Eligibility & Scheduling FAQs for additional help.
Appointments are required. No walk-ins will be accepted at any POD site. This information will be updated as it becomes available so please check back daily. POD sites listed below use Pfizer vaccine.

Prepare for Your Visit
Please bring the following items when you go to the drive-through POD site:
- the appointment confirmation email, QR code or other verification
- a form of ID verifying your age or your employment status, such as a work ID or paystub.
- your insurance card, for provider billing only; there is no cost for vaccination
After Your Visit: Scheduling for Second Doses
After receiving your first shot, you will receive a paper immunization record that will be completed at the time of vaccination. It will include the vaccine you received, date and provider, and when your next shot is needed (e.g., approx. 3 to 4 weeks after your first dose). Because different COVID-19 vaccine products will not be interchangeable, your second dose must be from the same manufacturer as your first dose. With both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines being used in the community, it is important you know what vaccine you're getting for your first dose so that when it's time to schedule your second shot, it's from a provider offering the same vaccine. Please be sure to bring this vaccination card with you when you get your second shot.
Please see our COVID-19 Vaccine FAQs for other information about eligibility, scheduling, vaccine safety, and other topics.
