Maricopa County homeowners concerned about the health, safety, and energy efficiency of their home may be eligible for assistance from the Human Services Department. The Housing and Community Development Division provides home weatherization and home rehabilitation services to qualified residents living in select communities of Maricopa County.
Emergency Home Repair, Home Rehabilitation, and/or Home Weatherization
Arizona Community Action Agencies assist residents with:
- utility or mortgage assistance
- eviction or foreclosure prevention assistance
- rental deposits
- emergency shelter

Eligible participants may receive assistance in three ways:
- Help to pay current and past due energy bills
- Help with utility deposits
- Help with energy efficiency measures to reduce future energy costs
